Using the app

Use It First helps organize ingredients, explore recipes, and estimate meal savings. You are responsible for confirming quantities, allergies, storage, freshness, and safe preparation. Photo recognition may be incomplete or incorrect and cannot establish food safety or identify hidden allergens. Savings depend on your inputs and are not guaranteed. Do not misuse the service or attempt to bypass usage limits.

Free preview and Plus

The free preview includes up to 5 pantry ingredients and 3 recipe previews. Plus unlocks full pantry tracking, recipe instructions, meal logging, savings tracking, shopping planning, meal reminders, and photo ingredient analysis, subject to service availability. Photo analysis permits up to 20 attempts per UTC day. All subscription durations provide the same Plus features.

Pricing and the yearly free trial

Planned U.S. pricing is $0.99 per week, $2.99 per month, or $19.99 per year. Only the yearly plan offers a 3-day free trial for eligible users. After the trial, it automatically renews at $19.99 per year unless canceled. If you are ineligible, the yearly purchase begins without a trial. Eligibility and localized prices are confirmed by your app store before purchase. There are no purchases on this website.

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Payment is handled by your Apple or Google account. Manage or cancel in the store’s subscription settings. Deleting or resetting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refund requests are handled under the applicable store’s policies and any rights provided by law.

Your data and access

Local data is not a guaranteed cloud backup. Guest access may require restoring purchases after reinstalling or changing devices. Keep information you need backed up through available device options. Do not share authentication credentials. See our privacy policy for data practices and request options.

Availability and changes

The current app is preparing for testing and is not yet publicly available. Features and service availability may change. Any material changes to subscription pricing or terms will be presented through the applicable store or app notices. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
